Around noon today my Pop went to be with Jesus. I can’t begin to describe the impact he has had on my life and the lives of every single person who has ever known him. I am blessed beyond measure to have had such an honorable, Christ-like man in my life. A picture of the type of person I want to be.

Surprise!
My dad and his fiance Bobbi surprised me by being at my work when I arrived yesterday… It was SO good to see them since I didn’t get to over Christmas. I visited them after I got off work, and then we met up for breakfast this morning.
It amazes me how seeing family unexpectedly can lift my mood :)

The best Christmas present ...
I just saw my grandparents at the rest home for Christmas. I wish I was closer so I could see them more. Its heartbreaking. I am so blessed to still have them, though! Seeing them was the best present of all.

merry (not a normal) christmas
spending christmas eve at work driving home christmas eve night spending christmas with (part of) the fam driving back to wilmington to be at work at ten on the 26th.
monumentally missing my normal christmas season i’ve never dreaded christmas eve i’ve never wanted to holidays to be over its kinda really sad.

Who Jesus Is
I decided that I want to start a “Who Jesus Is” daily post. The idea just came to me (thank you, Holy Spirit!) But was in a way inspired by a post by Josh. (re-blog to follow!) Every day I will post about Who Jesus Is to me. It may be one word. It may be a book. But no matter what, I want to recognize that Jesus is present and living in my life. Every day.
